CORRODED

Corroded, originally known as COAL, started with a stoner/metal sound influenced by the American scene. Their intense music and live performances quickly gained attention. After signing with Ninetone Records in 2008, the band saw lineup changes with Niklas and Martin Källström departing. Vocalist Jens Westin, guitarist Fredrik Westin, and Peter Sjödin were soon joined by drummer Per Soläng and bassist Bjarne Elvsgård. Their debut album, Eleven Shades Of Black, featured hits like 6 Ft Of Anger and Time And Again, solidifying their place in Swedish metal.

Following heavy touring and the release of Exit To Transfer, the band contributed the single Age Of Rage to the video game Battlefield Play4Free. With Tommy Rehn on guitar, they released State Of Disgrace in 2012. Signing with Despotz Records in 2016, Corroded released Defcon Zero in 2017, and their heaviest album, Bitter, in 2019, solidifying their reputation across Europe.
