Disreign

Disreign is a unique Swedish visual kei band that has gained recognition in both Sweden and Japan. Notable for being one of the few non-Japanese visual kei bands, Disreign's members perform primarily in Japanese, bridging cultural gaps in the music scene.

Led by Yohio, who is also a successful solo artist, Disreign is known for its heavier sound compared to Yohio's pop-oriented solo work. Popular tracks like Hoax, Shinsekai, and Within the Void highlight the band's intense style and commitment to the visual kei aesthetic.

Disreign played a pivotal role in introducing visual kei to Sweden in 2013, boosting Yohio's popularity before he moved to Japan to start his own record label. The band members are also part of Awoken By Silence, an English-language band with a similar heavy sound.
